Dr. Nicola Overman

Dr. Nicola Overman is a 1994 graduate of the College of Veterinary Medicine at Mississippi State University. She initially practiced full time at a small animal hospital in Brunswick right after graduation for 5 years then decided to do extensive relief work for most of the veterinary hospitals in Glynn County and surrounding areas. Since 1999 Dr. Overman has been operating a small animal house call service to provide in home care for your pet. In December of 2008 she opened her office to provide complete care including hospitalization, surgery, dentistry, x-rays, and laser therapy. Dr. Overman takes great pride in providing the most excellent care and service to both you and your pet on a very personal level.

Dr. Nicola Overman

Dr. Nicola Overman is a 1994 graduate of the College of Veterinary Medicine at Mississippi State University. Alison Whitten

Alison Whitten, originally from England, moved to the States in 1972. Her lifelong passion for animals has been the cornerstone of her career. After graduating from the North American Vet Tech program in 1986, Alison began her career at Disque Animal Clinic in Brunswick. She met Dr. Overman in 1994, when she joined Dr. Disque’s practice. Alison holds a Wildlife Rehabilitation license and spent a decade rehabilitating wildlife. She also dedicated ten years as a volunteer with HART (Humane Animal Resource Team) in McIntosh County, eventually becoming the vice president of the organization. During her tenure, she played a pivotal role in transforming the McIntosh County animal shelter into Georgia's first no-kill facility. Additionally, Alison fostered over 400 dogs and cats in her home. She collaborated with Dr. Overman at her small clinic after Dr. Disque sold his practice. Alison then ventured into owning a boarding and grooming facility in McIntosh County for eight years, until her involvement with The Pet Doctor increased. With 37 years in a profession she loves, Alison considers herself very fortunate to have turned her passion into a rewarding career.

Alison Whitten

Mandy Ryals

Mandy has harbored a love for animals throughout her entire life. Her journey in the animal care field began in 2013 at the McIntosh County Animal Service, where her passion for working with animals was ignited and has continued unabated. In 2016, Mandy joined The Pet Doctor, finding immense joy and fulfillment in every aspect of her role. Her time at The Pet Doctor has not only been about caring for animals but also about forming cherished relationships with numerous clients, who she now considers friends. Away from work, Mandy enjoys relaxing on the beautiful beaches of Florida. She eagerly looks forward to meeting and serving more clients and their beloved pets.

Lindsey Pegram

Lindsey was born and raised in Brunswick. She graduated from Glynn Academy in 2007 and acquired an associate's degree from Troy University. Following her academic pursuits, Lindsey decided to venture into entrepreneurship by opening her own business. After some time, she closed her retail store and chose to follow her passion, beginning a career as a vet tech in 2016. Lindsey has always harbored a strong love for animals, growing up surrounded by various critters. Her heart truly lies with the wilder side of the animal kingdom, reflecting her deep connection and affection for wildlife.

Ashley Warner

Ashley, a resident of Brantley County, began a career in the veterinary field in 2005. With years of experience, Ashley has developed expertise in emergency care, Animal Control, and as a veterinary technician. A passion for animals has been a constant since childhood, nurtured by spending time in vet clinics alongside a mother who also shared this love. Ashley's personal life is filled with the joys of riding horses and participating in horse shows with the youngest daughter. The household includes three horses, three dogs, one cat, and five goats. Ashley's dedication to helping animals is evident daily, not only in professional capacities but also in the enjoyment of getting to know each client and their animals personally.
